Soumen Sarkar

Soumen Sarkar has been initiated into the art of tabla playing by tabla maestro Pandit Anand Bodas. His style and technique imbibed from his guru has taken him around the globe and has earned him recognition as an accomplished tabla player. Soumen has toured extensively in the United States, Europe, and South Asian countries participating in numerous concerts and festivals and conducting workshops. He has accompanied the stalwarts like late Pt. V G Jog, Padmabibhushan Smt Girija Devi, Pt. Ajay Chakraborty to name a few. He performs regularly with the light classical and Ghazal maestros like Ghulam Aliji and Hariharanji. Soumen Sarkar’s taalim, dedication, and experience have joined forces to place him among the top ranking musicians of his generation.

Dhriti Chatterjee

Dhriti Chatterjee MA in Indian Classical music is a well –trained classical music performer. Dhriti has learnt under many stalwarts like Vidushi Dr. Suhasini Koratkar, Acharya Jayanta Bose (Vishnupur Gharana), Vidushi Padma Talwalkar. Currently, she is learning classical vocal music under Vidushi Arati Ankalikar and semi-classical from Vidushi Dr. Shashikala Shirgopikar. Dhriti is a passionate artist and her strength is Khayal, Thumri, and Ghazals. She is also passionate about imparting musical knowledge through training and is a faculty artist at muziclub.
